The Rauscher Engineering Office was founded in 1961 as a sole proprietorship in the legal form of a GbR in Abensberg. Initially, the first assignments were completed at the family’s kitchen table.
In 1966, the office moved into a newly constructed building, which still serves as both a residence and an engineering office to this day. Due to the positive development of business, two engineers and one technician were hired over time. Michael Rauscher's wife took on all administrative tasks.
In 1999, Thomas Rauscher joined the company. In addition to the original focus on structural calculations and construction design, the range of services was continuously expanded. Today, the office also offers a full spectrum of architectural services, including fire protection concepts, budget planning, the preparation of tender documents, and construction supervision.
Together with long-standing partners in technical building equipment and electrical planning, the company now implements projects as a general planner. Currently, we are working on establishing a surveying department.
Over the years, the number of employees steadily grew to the current 17. In 2012, the company was restructured into M.+Th. Rauscher GmbH.
To ensure the company's continued growth and to integrate the next generation into leadership early on, Mr. Denys Polishchuk was appointed to the management team in 2024.
